Top 5 Most Purchased Amazon Prime Pantry Food Items

*Disclosure: This post is not sponsored but contains affiliate links, meaning  at no additional cost to you I will earn commission if you click through and make a purchase. Thanks for supporting projects that make Nutrition Happen!

You guys. I’ve been an Amazon Prime member since 2011. They got me my first semester of college. I signed up because duh, you got a whole year for free (well, at least when I was a student!)  and at that age, anything felt possible when things were free. It’s honestly the actual best marketing scheme because they got me for LIFE. Because here I am, 7 years later, no longer a student but still an avid Amazon Primer.

No shame in the Amazon game though. It’s to the point where I have the Amazon Prime Visa card and since the Amazon + Whole Foods merge, the cashback perks have been complete game changers. Yes, I do think you deserve to get cashback for all those times you spent your hard earned cash at the hot bar.

However, one of my favorite services from the merge is the ability to order Whole Food pantry items through Amazon Pantry. Living in Chicago, I love grocery delivery services because a) I always overbuy at the store – having an online cart in front of me helps with impulse purchases b) in the case I do overbuy online anyway, I don’t have to haul everything home or call an Uber to drive me 4 blocks back home (been there too many times). The prices are exactly as you would find them at Whole Foods and it gets delivered right to my doorstep.

Today I’m sharing my top 5 most purchased Amazon Prime Pantry items via Whole Foods:

1. 365 Everyday Value Almond Butter

Nothing personally against peanut butter, but I personally love the texture and taste of almond (or cashew!) butter better. I love the Whole Foods 365 Everyday Value brand because there’s only one ingredient – just dry roasted almonds.

2. 365 Everyday Value Wild Alaskan Salmon

If you caught my last article with MindBodyGreen, this was one of my choices as a pantry essential for a healthy meal anytime. It’s a great source of protein to complement any meal and lasts for a long time in your storage cabinet. The only ingredients are wild Alaskan salmon and salt.

3. 365 Everyday Value Organic Tahini, 16 oz

Tahini is my favorite base as a sauce. Versatile because you can make a million different dressings + sauces or serve it plain as a dip. The 365 version contains 2 ingredients: toasted sesame seeds and salt.

4. 365 Everyday Value Roasted and Unsalted Pistachios

I’m going through a big pistachio phase, but any of the raw or toasted unsalted nut and seeds (cashew, almond, walnut, pine nut) makes this list because they all make a great snack or garnish for meals. Perfect sources of healthy fats and omega-3’s (trust me, you need for a healthy complexion!)

5. 365 Everyday Value Peppermint Essential Oil

While technically not a food item, I pick up essential oils from the 365 brand because they are high quality at a fantastic price. The amount you get is seriously the best value I’ve seen around. I use it my with favorite oil diffuser, the Vitruvi (the most minimalistic but beautiful diffuser I’ve found yet!).
